They love travelling together and Nolan met Kat's parents on a trip to Hong Kong in 2015.

They love to go on big trips (like Japan!) but also love a fun beach day kayaking at Fitzroy Provincial Park.

Nolan proposed at Fitzroy in October 2023, then a few months later they returned for their engagement photo session.

Their four cats Orion, Titan, Nova and Pluto are still looking for tiny suits and dresses so that they can attend the wedding in their finest attire and help guests finish their slices of cake.
